In order to restrict RDP to specific IP addresses,
- Go to the control panel->Administrative Tool
- Windows Firewall with Advanced Settings
- Select Inbound Rules
- Remote Desktop (TCP-In)
- Go to the Properties->Scope tab
- Add the IP (or IP range) in the Remote IP addresses section
- If no rule set for remote desktop add inbound rule to allow incoming connections on port 3389 (TCP) from private and domain if needed.
N.B. Making wrong changes in the firewall can affect your computer’s network/internet connection. Not sure what you’re doing? Give us a call, we will be happy to help.
